Once you paddle with a footbrace, you will never want to go without one.  The footbrace gives you leverage, as you paddle, it gives you something to brace against which strengthens your paddle stroke.  The footbrace gives you comfort, having something to rest your feet on.   Having an adjustable  footbrace fits you to the boat.  The better you fit the boat, the better you can control it.

These are genuine Wenonah Aluminum footbraces.  They easily rivet to any hull.  The crossbar telescopes for different boat widths and as your boat gets wider or narrower.  The footbrace is fully adjustable for paddler size. Tightening knob secures in place.

There are 2 colors.  Silver Aluminum and Black Aluminum.  You generally match the footbrace color to the color of your gunwales or trim.
